* Vit D 25ug per day might help ... but no more/no less ... it's a fine balance for it to be even a bit effective.
* Zinc also might help ... but in the form of lozenges to act as an antiviral in the upper airways if you get ill. I don't think tablets work well unless you take that old anti-malarial drug at the same time. Lozenges are hard to find so I'll try to make some from wine gums or gummi bears plus crushed pills.
* Obesity will be a key killer in the USA ... and in some parts of the UK.
* General supplements might help to correct deficiencies .. but watch that 25ug vit D limit.
* Not sure about exercise .. can't do harm I suppose.
Also:
* If you get fever don't take paracetamol too early ... the fever is killing the bugs. (Obviously if you get REALLY hot then you may need to do something).
* Drink lots of fluids.
