I find myself thinking about this, well my grandparents had a war to win, my parents had a country to rebuild, and I have this. What worries me is ours might be the first of these 3 generations to fail in the task given it...SunnyJim wrote:It is incredible isn't it? The foundations are being laid for a completely different way of life in 5 years time. All the while the majority are still expecting and waiting for everything to 'recover' and for 'long term' growth to return....
As you say, it's a monumental time in the history of mankind, and as such in the history of this little planet of ours. I'm not sure how to mark it, but I feel I should. I think I'm going to have a big old solstice celebration and mark it with a big speach to the assembled throng. Then I'll slaughter a goat or something.
FULL ON!!!!! Fancy doing something with a 400W solar sound system and some appropriate tunes?!SunnyJim wrote:It is incredible isn't it? It sure will!!
The only thing I'm lacking is a pedal generator and battery capacity, the former shouldn't be a problem and for the latter I can always nick some of the ones running my house.
Everyone should bring an mp3 player/ipod thingy to ensure a good choice of tunes!

On the local village green no doubt. They need a wake up call, and let's face it, it's the locals I need to convince to get growing stuff and swapping their cars for horses!Eternal Sunshine wrote:Where are you thinking of doing this?Andy Hunt wrote:FULL ON!!!!!
