UKIP will soon cease to exist. It was always pretty obvious that the Brexit referendum would lead to the breakup of the UKIP - regardless of the result. But a win for Brexit makes UKIP particularly pointless. Same thing would happen to the SNP if the nationalists ever win an independence referendum. There is no reason for them to exist and nothing to keep them united.

Agree, not certain that we need UKIP anymore.
I have voted for them as I am opposed to remaining in the EU, and I felt that voting UKIP was a good way of expressing that view.
Now that we have held a referendum, and voted to leave the EU, it could be argued that UKIP are obsolete.
In the event that we do not actually fully leave in a timely fashion, then I forecast a great upsurge in support for UKIP, but not otherwise.

Now they don't even get to the point of declaring that they are standing for election before they out of the race.

I didn't realise at first that it was one of his "colleagues" who did it.

Oh boy. This is some implosion. They really should just disband UKIP.UKIP leadership hopeful Steven Woolfe says he is recovering in hospital after a reported fight at a meeting of the party's MEPs.
