Daffs are a good marker of climate.
Ours are always a week later than my parents' ones, even though they live only 10 miles south of us. They are however lower and nearer the sea.
As a comparison, our daffs are only just poking their leaves above soil level now. My parents' ones are about 6" tall, but have no flower buds yet.
We are all obviously quite a bit behind ........

Peas need quite a bit of fertility. We've only really had one good pea harvest in 3 years when they were sown in a raised bed. I'll be manuring our pea bed this year.
I'm also going to try Oca (oxalis tuberosa) this year for the first time - might be a nice alternative to potato.
