I experience pleasure and pains, and pursue goals in service of them, so I cannot reasonably deny the right of other sentient agents to do the same - Steven Pinker
The trouble is, all these numbers are so large that they become meaningless to most people.
What does it mean for 1% of the population to have a net worth (whatever that is) 122 times larger than the national median?
In a country so large, populus and hetrogenius, it is very hard to get a feel for the median value of anything.
