- On Sunday evening we moved our pigs into a corner of field where we want to grow potatoes this year.
And 36 hours later it already looks like this:

They'll get through that plot in no time! These two dug up a huge field in a fortnight :
They've now moved on and we've three new ones this week, Berkshire Gloucester Old Spot crosses with a bit of Gascon.
We've still a ham in perfect condition two years after the pig was killed!

We had GOS last year. These ones are GOS x Large Black. They are really talkative! And much better diggers than the GOS ladies.
They are slowly finishing up all the greenery - so I think they'll have done a good job by potato planting time.
