The perennial "I recall these [whatevers] being much bigger when I was a kid" is true, then?

Here we go again . . .
Mars has become the latest snack firm to admit the credit crunch is eating into its business.

The Snickers bar and M&Ms maker said it would be raising the wholesale price of its goods to offset rising raw material, packaging and energy costs.
What on Earth has the 'credit crunch' got to do with rising raw materials prices?

Methinks there is some 'population programming' going on here . . .

I think it's something to do with the Credit Crunchy Bar.

Finally a reason to strive to become Dictator of the World - I would have the powers to have all witty people taken away and shot!

Not the Aero property bubble, then?

It would be a Marathon task to get rid of all the witty people to stop those Snickers. It wouldn't be a Picnic anyway, and certainly no job for a Flake.

Ok, just because some of us are being Smarties, there's no need to get your knickers in a Twix.

Wot not a hazelnut in every bite??

Actually a reduction in sweetie-munching is no bad thing when you consider stuff like post-peak dentistry!

I wonder if the recession is making people smoke less, too?

Look out! MacG is sending the Bounty hunters to come and get you. Quick, jump in your bright red Ferrero and hit the gas! Oh booger, the tyre's burst. Look's like you've got a large Thorntons stuck in it. Now the car's as much use as a chocolate fireguard.
Dear Vladimir, I have changed my name because Panicky Mum reflected neither my current state of mind nor my Russian roots. I think that you're doing a great job and look forward to enjoying an excellent supply of gas for some time yet. All the best!

Shhh! When you're a hardy survivalist living in the wild, you have to Wispa and listen out for nasty predators. Is it an alien from Mars? A Lion perhaps? No, just a Yorkie.

Not yet - I'm just preparing - got a little black book where I take careful notes - soon, soon... Muahaha!
