This evening's World Tonight on Radio 4 had a short report on the Government's ?50,000,000 fund to promote tidal power. The fund has been going for three years, but apparently the rules are so strict that so far only two groups have applied for funding for their projects, and neither was successful. Malcolm Wicks or another representative from the Government were apparently not available to comment.
The segment was in the last 5 minutes or so of the programme.
