Our Dear Leader is at COP29, even though many other world leaders are shunning it.

'Fossil fuels are ‘gift of God’, says president of Cop29 host nation Azerbaijan
The president of Azerbaijan told the climate change summit his country is hosting that oil and gas are a “gift of God”.

Ilham Aliyev reportedly told the summit in Baku: “Countries should not be blamed for having them [fossil fuel resources] and should not be blamed for bringing these resources to the market, because the market needs them.”

The comments risk undermining Cop29 which is supposed to be focused on reducing emissions and moving the world away from fossil fuels.'

COP is dead with Trump and Modi in charge of their nations. China will not pull its weight if those two don't, even if China realises the need for maximum decarbonisation of its own industry. Russia and the OPEC nations were never going to do anything except sabotage COP by any means necessary. Canada and Australia are the two other Western nations who are real COP hypocrites . This COP meeting is just to rub salt in the wounds of the climate activists.

She’d forgotten about St Chad’s being a Church school, and the haunted wing of the Church at that.
The question-and-answer session degenerated with alarming rapidity into a bitter feud between those who believed fracking damaged Creation, and those who took it on faith that if God in His wisdom has put the fuel there, then we would be insulting Him if we didn’t use it.
