There are two separate issues as far as i see it, one is the shift from icehouse to hothouse, and the other is the global warming merry-go-round where people blame this and that and create this facade of decisive action that he was referring to. I think they are separate processes, one we can do something about and one we can't. I find it difficult to establish to what extent each one is contributing.
