'Plants for a Future' By Ken Fern.

Ken Fern lives on some land in Cornwall with his family, raising many different plants for food, fuel, clothing, dyes, you name it. This book, named after their business, gives many great ideas about unusual plants and their potential uses. One e.g. I particularly like, is about edible flowers, again, a source of food that most people wouldn't think about pinching from your garden, not knowing what it is. There are also ideas for alternative crops which are less prone to diseases than the usual veg that we're used to eating. One of the ideas I use in my allotment, is 'Nettle tea', which is basically, crushed Nettles left in a bucket of water for two weeks and then used on your crops as a plant food or as a compost activator.

A very useful book!
