FRB = Fractional Reserve Banking

I'm sure I saw a great one a few years ago, but can't remember where it is.....

We don't use FRB, we use capital adequacy i.e. you can lend out X times the amount of capital that you hold (X may be adjusted for different risks). In other words, if your bank has enough capital, they will loan out 100% of any money you deposit with them,

They're both good. TSOO is a tad drawn out IMO but Still's conclusions are worth watching it for.
