I am no longer the only poster to have reached the 5000 mark!

I was pretty pleased with myself for passing 2000, and this news is so depressing. Maybe it's quality rather than quantity that matters

Reaching 5000 made me realise that blogging is a pointless thief of time.

I'm trying to 'other stuff' nowadays, so my Peak Posting is in the past.

But more importantly, if he has, would anyone notice? :D

That's funny.

Edit: I've just noticed that I am also over 5000 posts, but hadn't actually realised until I read this thread!

For once, I wholeheartedly agree with you Vortex and from now on I'll only be making 'cameo appearances'.

Gardens to tend. Paintings to paint. Instruments to play. Lines to learn. Family and friends to cherish.

It's goodbye from him. Best of luck to you all whatever the future brings. :D

I'm currently at No 18 in the top posters list, and working to catch up with Totally_Baffled. A few people above me slowing down would be good for my ego :D

In my case my time is sadly spent on work related stuff.

Not posting here & elsewhere for a month or so released enough time to set up a complete e-commerce website from scratch.
That's from first contact with the bank through coding the website by hand to receiving the first payments from customers.

Anyway Aurora good fun with your more civilised goals! You'll find that within a few weeks you will have painted 10 masterpieces whilst learning to play the Zambian Nose Flute and planting enough veggies for a cast of thousands!

The prize for the most prolific poster must go to RenewableCandy at 5.95 posts per day since she joined in Sept 2007.

There are over 600 members out of the 1411 total who haven't posted at all and about 220 who have only posted once.

I'll miss Aurora's posts which usually had something interesting to read.

Ken, what a sad life you must lead if you're calculating PowerSwitch posting statistics at 4:50am. It's the sort of thing I'd do at 2am to see if I'm moving up the top posters chart

'Only' 3603. To be honest most of those were in 2006/7. I'm way past peak posting!

Don't speak too soon Chris . . . the future may prompt you to some 'unconventional commentary'
