One cannot solve abusive or psychopathological behavior through rational means, no matter how much it may be in abusers or psychopaths interest for us to believe so. (As author Lundy Bancroft has noted, “in one important way, an abusive man works like a magician. His tricks largely rely on getting you to look off in the wrong direction, distracting your attention so that you wont notice where the real action is. He leads you into a convoluted maze, making your relationship with him a labyrinth of twists and turns. He wants you to puzzle over him, to try to figure him out, as though he were a wonderful but broken machine for which you need only to find and fix the malfunctioning parts to bring it roaring to its full potential. His desire, though he may not admit it even to himself, is that you wrack your brains in this way so that you wont notice the patterns of logic of his behavior, the consciousness behind the craziness.”)
Grotesquely exploitative behavior is not something to be figured out. It is something to be stopped.
Enough said now, hopefully.

"We fail to mandate economic sanity because our brains are addled by....compassion." (Garrett Hardin)
Yeah, he has issues, just like millions of others in this nation that it has been allowed to become ruled by and which rewards and lauds bullies, con-men and spivs like yourself.
If you are just a thick useful idiot, then I detest your beliefs but feel sorry for you as a person. If, however, you really do understand the vileness of those beliefs but just don't give shit, then I detest both your beliefs and you as a person.

It is talk like that that makes thirty round magazines taped together in pairs very popular among the doomer set in the US.

How does that help if the 40 rent slaves also have access to firearms?

Yeah, I think its fair to say I have issues too.
Usual Steve standard of debate.
1. Verbose war and peace script
2. You don't understand/You're deliberately missing the point
3. Abuse.

Whereas in Britain we can have a row and know there is no chance of getting killed. If they ever meet they're more likely to buy each other a pint than shoot each other.

Good point and technically they have equal access. In reality though the rent slaves live in the inner city where gun laws are very restrictive so the only gun they are likely to have is an illegal one they have never had the chance to practice with and probably only have one clip full of ammo for.

So the UK has almost zero homicides ?
The USA's homicide rate has always been roughly an order of magniture higher than the UKs, even in an era (eg. 1890s) where access to handguns was unrestricted in both New York and London.

Yes the US has always been a rough and tumble frontier while the UK has been the center of the civilized world from Victorian times on. How much longer you will be able to hold onto that with immigration and the end of cheap oil remains to be seen.

Homicide rate does not include lawful killings, for example by police officers in self-defence. I counted 40 of these in the UK since 1922 (most of which in Northern Ireland which could justifiably be called a warzone during much of this time and... well, we might question 'self-defence' in some of those cases). In the US there were 26... in March.
Which is really a distraction from the general point: use of force has to escalate on both sides so the harsh security, surveillance and increasing use of violent methods such as tasers is as much a product of disenfranchisement as the London or LA riots.
