On the bright side... won't it be nice when all music is live, played by real musicians, instead of the manufactured crap we're force fed by the media.

If small groups of techno fans manage to set up renewable energy parties, I think that will count too, though!

I can stop being introduced by people thus:

"This is Chris, he things were all doomed and we are about to run out of oil, Ha ha ha"

and instead be introduced as

"This is Chris, luckily for me Chris made me aware of Peak Oil in enough time to mitigate some of the consequences for me and my family"
