As far as peak oil and the price of oil? Thats an economic issue, and its obviously an economic solution, which is why the supply of oil, taken by itself, doesn't matter much.
I'm sure you are a very good oil industry expert but an economist you are not and you appear to be completely ignorant of how the world works. .
Well, I certainly can't say I'm an economist. And there are times I am definitely left wondering how some portion of the world works.

But peak oil is ALL about economics, and noticing it hardly makes me a troll.
There you go again, twisting people's words to suit your own pointless little agenda.

I really don't know how you find the time to write so many posts. You clearly have nothing better to do or is the oil industry a bit quiet and boring these days?

That sums it up nicely.
Thank you for conceding that peak oil isn't actually about oil. :D
Thank you for conceding that you're no expert on Peak Oil.

Since this is RGR's own personal thread, perhaps this is the place to suggest he amends his signature to end with a 'July 2008 and that's it'.

I have never been aware of anyone blaming the oil-industry(ies) nor, indeed, any person, organisation or any other such bodies for the great conveniences and inconveniences cheap, abundant fossil fuels have provided during the course of history. RGR, you are clearly very clued up given your experience within the industry itself and I doubt that many people on here don’t value your rationality in confronting some of the more sensational doomers with cold, hard facts. However, removing all the jargonistic crap-be it the figures you present or stories of stocking up on guns and tinned food- which is essentially wooling over the crucial issues at hand-is extremely important because for the large part, we live in a society which does not understand nor appreciate the luxuries provided by readily available fossil fuels. I, personally respect your views and find some of your comments insightful and very helpful in furthering my understanding of the issue. I have been reading up on and around PO for some time, and will continue to do so, like many others on PS, in order to prepare myself for a future (however and whenever it transpires) in which myself and or my future children will live enjoyable and fulfilling lives in communities that I hope will be more frugal than many are now.
Thank you.

Very noble R69.

My answer to the thread title is, 'who cares' what RGR wants....... you are obviously a very self-centred person, to start a thread like this in the first place. I mean who else would start a thread that said "what does 'user name (ME)' want?"

Why don't you go and stroke your ego elsewhere? We happen to be interested in the topic of Peak Oil on this site - and more specifically what we can do to mitigate the problem. If you think it is a load of crap, then fair enough, leave us in peace and go and post somewhere else...... please! :(
