According to various media reports a top Russian general and his assistant have been killed by a bomb in an e-scooter. A different form of assassination than falling out of a window.....
EDIT - Ukraine have fessed up that it was them that carried out the attack. Seems a bit too sophisticated for them to do this on their own....
Splendid news ! Such an attack does not require any great expertise, explosives, battery and detonator and a remote control to explode the bomb at the optimum time.
The explosives and the detonator are readily available to the military and from mines etc. Batteries are sold everywhere. The remote control device could be one intended to remotely open a garage door, to avoid premature explosion, use TWO remote controls wired such that the first one arms the bomb and the second one explodes it.

Yes bagging an enemy general, however incompetent, is always a good thing. It shows the extend of Ukrainian surveillance and intelligence that exists in the Russian Federation.
Apparently, that train was hit partly by a HIMARS. Hope it did not cost too much and caused more damage than the HIMARS cost. I could not find a good video of the explosions or fire but that fuel train that crashed in Canada made a real mess to a town. It should be emphasised that Russia uses rail a lot more than trucks to carry supplies to their front.
I saw a video saying that the Russians are using drones that trail a fibre optic communications cable so that they cannot be jammed by radio frequency means. I am still surprised that lasers have not been used in a meaningful way.
