Actually, I do know of people who really believe that 'we have to get off this planet and to another one' to survive. And they believe it is possible to do so.

And people think I'm the nutter simply by wanting to cycle to and from work!

If everyone in the world entered their names into a lottery with a one in a billion chance of winning, that would give everyone the chance to experience space travel, even though only six or seven people actually would. The odds could even be made homeopathically slim, in which case it's extremely unlikely anyone would go up but everyone would still have the chance. He wanted to run the lottery, remember?
