I know about the rain, I've been here for weeks! Don't know why I'm moving here really, but it's too late now. Just come back from a few days in England. It was sunny until I stopped for lunch in the Forest of Dean, but it's been wet ever since, and now it's pissing down again

This year has been extraordinarily wet, even by Wales standards. One wonders where it's all coming from.

The Azores, allegedly. I saw a meterologist on TV explaining that there was a "conveyor" weather system where a corridor of warm moist air was being held between two fronts in a narrow North-bound belt. The belt crosses Southern Ireland, Wales and the Midlands and drops the water.
