Tesco Trees
There are Trees in Tesco again
Fruits, I saw apples and plums, are £7, willows were £4
Not sure about root stocks, but the cherries I got last year will be 3-4metres when fully grown.
If anyone is thinking of putting in an orchard or a fire wood, these could bulk it out a bit.

Wish we had room for a couple more trees in our garden.

No, no, no. If you want to buy trees go to a true tree shop like Talaton.

What a wonderful dream. Tesco gone out of business, their shops abandoned and nature reclaiming the siteDominicJ wrote:There are Trees in Tesco

Nut trees...These guys look interesting. I think they supplied Totnes with their nut trees.

Peter.

Presumably a very busy one too, thenBlue Peter wrote:These guys? One guy, I think, Martin Crawford (a very nice chap),RenewableCandy wrote:Nut trees...These guys look interesting. I think they supplied Totnes with their nut trees.
Must admit I've not bought trees from there as there's a theory it's better to buy near where you intend to plant (so the weather and the tree match up). We bought ours from RHS Harlow Carr.

Very busy, very organized, I guess. I read an article on forest gardens which said that there is a tendency for them to get out of control - the one exception (in the UK, that the author knew of) was Martin's,
Peter.
