This New Year event is getting boring.
Sigh: Do I need to check my battery charge level, and fuel stocks this evening?

The National Grid has warned that gas supplies from Europe this winter look less certain.
In its outlook for energy supplies to the UK this winter, the National Grid said as gas reserves in the North Sea dwindle and the UK becomes increasingly dependent on imports from Norway and elsewhere, it found itself in a bind to predict how much gas will actually come to UK shores.
National Grid is forecasting that supplies from the Continental Shelf for next winter will decline by ten per cent.
It also warns that is no guarantee that gas will come in from abroad, despite the potential for increased imports through the Ormen Lange gas pipeline from Norway.
"We acknowledge the potential for higher deliveries to the Continent (from Norway) at the expense of the UK," the report said.
People may be approaching the problems from different angles, but we're all after the same solutions.i really dont care about global warming, but these kinds of things are reasons for us to be investing in energy supplies that arent reliant on us digging up dead plants and animals.

Last time wasn't part of the problem the syphoning off some of the gas....An official at Gazprom's headquarters in Moscow said: "We have fully cut off supplies to Ukraine as of 10am (0700 GMT) today."
"Usually we supply 390 million cubic metres per day, of which 300 million is transit gas for Europe. Today supplies are running at 300 million cubic metres. We continue supplying Europe in full," Reuters quoted him as saying.
