Making your own fuel pellets

Wouldn't it be better for the machine to be driven by electricity or direct wind/water energy (through mechanical linkages)?

Pellet making.

Hi,
New member and not really technically minded. To those more knowledgeable than I has any one tried to make pellets from meadow hay?

Hi! jddevel and welcome.

Making pellets from good hay would be a criminal waste and making it from wet rotting hay would not be good. A friend of mine imports pellets from Argentina to Newcastle (New tack on coals to .... and also a criminal act really) and these are made from pampas grasses so hay should be possible.
