Apparently a lot of people are taking out their savings and depositing them with Irish banks, where the government has guaranteed 100% of the amount deposited.

If they have an Irish bank account. Otherwise it's impossible as it is difficult for even an Irish resident to open a new account.

The Irish economy seems to crashing pretty fast.

Then again, if this means an influx of cash into their economy and the EU don't stop them, I may move my savings over there.
