For Fun: The Virtual Lights-out Party

Post by tattercoats »

Right, I've decided to inject a little frivolity into proceedings.

So, our savings and pensions have all been liquidated, we may or may not have jobs and houses. Right. I'm sitting here in the field with...

1. A cheery fire.
2. A guitar.
3. A limitless supply of chocolate brownies.

Who's for joining me, and what three things are you bringing?
Green, political and narrative songs - contemporary folk from an award-winning songwriter and performer. Now booking 2011. Talis Kimberley ~ www.talis.net ~ also Bandcamp, FB etc...

I'm sure I'd break out the Pea Pod wine for this. 8)

Oh and toasting marshmallows would be essential, so count me in to bring a big bag.

What the hell, the end is nigh, right?
I'll bring a huge vat of custard, a trampoline and a smile. Or is this meant to be a family-orientated event?

I'd be thinking that it's a waste of firewood that could be more efficiently burnt in a stove and is the chocloate organic and fairly traded.

Hmmmm there seems to be a theme emerging here . . .
There is no pain, you are receding
A distant ship's smoke on the horizon
You are only coming through in waves
Your lips move, but I can't hear what you're saying

When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye
I turned to look, but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now
The child has grown, the dream has gone

I have become . . . comfortably numb

Sack of spuds, tinfoil and fireworks!

Please no Floyd!!! This is supposed to be FUN! How about some Bob Marley?
