The US Senate has voted 'nay' to the $700B bailout plan. In a somewhat unexpected turn of events, the bailout plan backed by George Bush as a plan of "tremendous importance to all Americans" has been rejected by the senate. The initial vote of 207 to 226 in the senate was not overturned in the reflection time after the vote. With the DOW falling nearly 500 points and the clock to the deliberation time running to zero, the senator of Texas tried to revive discussions on the bill to no avail.
I didn't even get a chance to post my snotty letters to the banks today - now they'll probly be outta business by the time the second class post gets there...........

I wonder what's happening in the States? Are the sheeple already fetching thier money out of the banks? If so, we really. really are in a huge pile of dung, and this whole thing could actually go down in day's......
