Help, speaker wanted.

Hi all,
I am part of the steering group for the newly formed Transition Town Tooting, we are raising busily awareness in the community and would like to hold an event on Energy/Peak Oil during the third week of October and need a speaker.
Can you Help?

I have just had an offer from Stephan Harding to come and talk to our group and I hear Mark Watson is quite entertaining, but his agent hasn't replied to my email. What about Rob Hopkins?

Thanks for those.

Rob Hopkins is coming to Brixton's unleashing at the beginning of the month,
so we thought we'd save him for a similar event.

Ideally we would like to get someone local or South London.

Mike Grenville of Transition Forest Row is eloquent and charismatic and is heading up the South East Transition Initiative, which you could arguably be part of...

Yeah Mike is great, he helped us out at an event on the Southbank as part of the L.I.F.T. festival.

Have any PowerSwitch people got any ideas

I'm based near to Tooting. Not the world's best speaker, but if you're desperate...
