Ken was thinking about using a cob jet/rocket stove for heating the water for the showers using waste wood, a similar arrangement to outside his kitchen door. Since using a large mass of cob would keep a lot of heat in the structure for some time there could be two things:

If the thermal dynamics of the cob were insufficient to guarentee the temperature then if a thermal store/accumulatore was used with mains pressure in the top for hot water outlet then this without any of its own insulation (encased in the cob for insulation) if it ran at the usual 80C + would likely ensure the adjoining chambers reached the correct temperature with the cob acting as insulation to maintain the temperature.

Anybody know of anything like this in the real world beyond my imagination?

Hi everyone,

Would like to also thank Ken and family for their hospitality. Myself and Leanne really enjoying meeting lots of like minded people.

Thanks to Paul for the foraging talk and small walk. Was quite hungover on the Sunday morning so we left without saying bye to many people!
