Pippa that sounds awful. :( Keep strong & make sure you have good people around you to talk to & support you.

Somebody very close to me is having similar treatment in a simlilar situation. Unfortunately you'll just have to get your head down & get through it. Skeptic's right. There's no point trying to reason with the other party.

Good news! I have been going on for a long time now in my local community about how us volunteers of local groups should have a big all group meeting to discuss local issues.

Recently talking to one of the local parish councillors (as local trader and current chair of association) mentioned Transition Towns regarding green issues which were being discussed by our council. Councillor said she would take a look at the links and also was interested in having an "all group" meeting.
