Welcome screamifyouwanttogofaster - what a brilliant user name! Even if you just come in here to let off steam then PowerSwitch will be doing some good. :) But I can assure you that if you want to, you can learn an awful lot from the good people in here. :)

Hey panickymum - sounds like a pretty good username too. Welcome on-board. :) I believe the mods can change your user name if you want......

My wife was originally a "stick her head in the sand" as she had other things to worry about. But she has come around a lot now and is starting to take it all on-board....

Hello & welcome screamifyouwanttogofaster. :D (I may just call you Scream from now on tho, or SIYWTGF, whichever you find least offensive :wink: ) I agree with you, the children are a driving force for me. Even if I wanted to bury my head in the sand, I wouldn't feel as tho' I could.

Thanks for the welcome :) . I'm sure I'll find this place a useful resource. I like to be informed and I've never been one to trust my safety/ health etc to "them out there", I'm sure there are lots of likeminded people here, or we wouldn't be here would we!

Thanks :) . And Scream is fine. Though it's making me think of Monsters Inc... which funnily enough is rather appropriate is it not? :lol:

Sunnyjim and Mitch

We have three kids, 16, 13 and 11. They are quite an assortment; oldest has Downs Syndrome, ADD, dysfluency and had two years of leukaemia treatment, middle is normal, and youngest has ADD and dysfluency.

Mitch you are right, eventually I will be better off. Life has been very lonely for a very long time.

Thanks for the support and advice and just for being here everyone.
