Where's Pippa?
Anyone know where Pippa is? It's all a bit sane around here these days
Yes I have been wondering that too.
Maybe she has been eaten by her compost toilet!!!

Hmm ... a secret community maybe?RalphW wrote:Her last post was in March. I suspect she is just too sorted to spend much time on this list - she has made her mental and physical preparations and the last I heard spending most of her time integrating with her local community. I wonder if she still drives that Landrover Discovery...
Mary was surprised to see that most of the newly arrived farmers carried guns.
I am living a new nightmare.
I haven't got time to worry about what might happen next, more a case of dealling with what is.
My life is a cross between Coronation Street and a Physco film. I have been stalked, threatened with a knife, physically attacked, slandered, liabled, my mother has been threatened verbally and with court action. There is so much going on I can't talk about on an open forum.
Life is still not boring. Hurrah.
I am a steel ball. I will not be defeated (new mantra).
Thanks for thinking about me everyone.
P.S
Yes I still do drive the Landrover Discovery, and it costs ?100 a time to fill (still cheaper than buying a new car though).

I suggest you pop down to Ken's early August for a bit of light relief and to spend some time with like minded soles....

Best wishes Pippa, sounds absolutely horrific, good job you're such an absolutely sound and indefatigable person, I'm sure the best wishes and strength of everyone here is with you.

A few observations from personal knowledge. Not all this might be applicable in your case, but maybe some might help.Pippa wrote: My life is a cross between Coronation Street and a Physco film. You can't negotiate with a psychopath in the same way as with a normal person. It doesn't work. Ability to compromise is not part of the psychopathic personality. All you can do is offer your ultimatums - If A then B. then once you've said what you want to say, break off. Always be the one to end any communication.
Never back down. If you say one thing then then do another it only encourages further bad behavior.
Keep all communication to a bare minimum and on the record. Do not get into arguments. Psychos can spin your head around with verbal gymnastics. If phone calls are involved record them. Where possible, no contact, no communication is best.
If personal contact is inevitable, have a friend present as a witness.
Psychopaths are inexorable once they've latched onto a target, and will wear you down emotionally, psychologically and financially if you let them. Total avoidance and no communication is the best policy. If you do not respond to their provocations they eventually give up. Getting you to engage emotionally and respond to them is what it's all about - manipulating your emotions in order to modify/control your behaviour. It's a power kick.
