Thoughts of a madman...

Post by Koba »

How will history judge us, will they look upon us as the destroyers of worlds, or will they regard our generation as the saviours of our world. How many of us will survive into old age, to tell the tales of the ?Great Decline?. Will there even be anybody left to carry on what we have started? maybe we are witnessing the decline of mankind forever, who knows but I do feel privileged to be one of the chosen few to witness the decline of the age of man. How we have abused this world, and by so doing so we have been abusing ourselves. History I feel will not be kind to any of us regardless of what we have been trying to do these last few years; it has been too little too late I am afraid. The change should have begun decades ago but like so many things in this world we always leave it too late except this time the stakes are much higher and maybe too high for us to over come.

One day I will wake to find the future has no place for us, nature has had enough and will move on without us and maybe she is right, maybe it is for the best that she shakes us off for the last time. When all is said and done what have we achieved, our whole history has been the pursuit of power and wealth and it is that which shall kill us all. The failure to work together will be paid in a price that we cannot imagine, that we cannot comprehend, and that we cannot pay. We have had our chance and we have failed now and we will see nature at its most powerful, and in our blindness and stupidity we will face our judgement day on the alter of nature and she will not be in a mood for forgiveness. She we build monuments of darkness to the creatures that thought they could control her.

It is a strange feeling to witness this moment, everything seems calm and things are carrying on as normal? or so it seems! How much time remains before events start to unravel, does it even matter, I am as ready as I will ever be to face the end I just hope that I will meet you all again on the our side. My life as well as yours is in fates hands, I cannot tell what the future will bring but I do know one thing I came into this world kicking and screaming and if I have to give my life to this struggle then I am going to raise hell before I do. If nature wants to take me out then I am going to give her a fight she won?t forget. I have been waiting for this moment for years, and finally the end of this capitalistic nightmare looks to be coming to an end, and when it does I will be able to begin my life for as long a nature lets me. I have been a slave to the system for too long, and I want my freedom even if it is just for one day. I want to know what it is like without cars, planes, and the rest of rubbish that comes with our culture. What would I give to end this narrascistic nightmare? I long to be free of the state, to be able to determine my own life, raise my own children free from the prison that is our country.

I long to see the sunrise? Until then I live in hope!

Nice read - thanks!

You provide another sign that the old government-memeplex has outlived itself and start to turn irrelevant. Any memeplex worth it's salt does, however, have defense mechanisms and dont go down without some (pretty desperate) fighting. Just think "The Inquisition". Nuff said.

I think this is fundamentally wrong. I believe thet it's not "we" who pursue power and wealth, it is a tiny little minority who do it. And they have managed to get influence way beyond what is reasonable. Mainly by exploiting the stupid and the infirm.

"There is a sucker born every minute"

"You can fool all the people half the time, and half the people all the time.." And it is that latter half we focus on. (George W. Bush)

I believe with every bone of my body that the next big step in human development will take place when we start to get a broad understanding of the psychopats, and learn to avoid their manipulations. Until then history will not merely repeat itself, it will stutter.
