Not many signs of hoarding here in the South. Sometimes the Independant is a big of a panic rag. They love nothing more than a good crisis. That reminds me, the car is half full, I'd better top up, just in case :)

Well this morning I went out and bought two more cars just so I could store a bit more petrol.

I filled our bath up with diesel yesterday. Getting serious innit?

Last fuel panic the owner of the company I worked for sent our driver out with empty solvent drums to fill up with diesel. He used up half a tank of fuel going to a couple of garages to fill up. These then sat in a corner of the factory. I couldn't persuade him that the risk to the business of not delivering to customers for a few days was far less than the risk of storing and shipping fuel around on our premises.

As a species we are really crap at thinking. I was going t o say thinking about risk but will just leave it at that.
