Now RC, I'm told that most of us on here are a bit slow and perhaps it's true, but I'm not sure I catch your drift!
(Perhaps it's the red wine clouding my thoughts.... at least if your comment later appears to be obvious, then that is what I'll blame..... )
Sorry, it's the Infinite Improbability Drive scene from HitchHiker, the bit where he's on a beach (with the land lapping at the sea) and the voice recounting the probabilities getting more and more unlikely.
I have this theory that everyone has their own innate improbability level: for example I find most of my life is led at a probability of about 1/300. There will be other more-remarkable people, and some on the other hand with boringly high probabilities, like 2/3. Yup I've been at the red wine too

Ah... I think I need to watch that again sometime.... I never did read the book

Could you tell me when you're about to travel next time? ......
I'm out all day Friday, so look out for new highs then!

An intriguing philosophy, RC.
I've tried to read the book about 5 times over the years since it came out and every time I failed to get passed the first chapter. Such dull and weak humour - and I usually *love* scifi. On the other hand, I enjoyed the tv series and the movie, which HHGTTG people can't enjoy because they loved the book so much.
RC: I agree - interesting philosophy. I can see where you're going with that. I wonder how many people would see themselves as a 2/3 though, or even a 1/4. We all like to think of ourselves as fairly unique...

I strobgly recommend you don't watch it - try listening to it, (the original BBC radio series) the pictures are far superior. (with or without the red juice )

Know what you mean about the pictures. Films of books you read first don't always match up.... although to be honest Harry Potter came close!

I didn't enjoy the radio series that much because I saw the TV series first. I've never read the book.
Everyone's pretty much assuming a 'target' of $120 will be 'achieved'. Current high on the ICE exchange is 117.40 for May WTI. It expires tomorrow - likely to go up into expiry I would have thought.

Ye gods and little fishes, this is starting to get a bit fast isn't it?
