$115.52, according to this
Can't see it on Nymex yet due to 15min delay for us plebs.
Are we having a competition for who can post the most record highs? I guess Tess could win if she tried, but might get in trouble at work!

$115. This is ridiculous. At some point the economy will blow a fuse.
Throw in the food crisis, the Credit Crunch and the foreign Sovereign Funds buying up the West, Irag, Islamic terrorism then we have an interesting mix ...
Surely at some point there will be a very loud creaking sound followed by a nasty cracking sound ... in fact, I'm surprised we haven't had a major panic in Panorama, Newsnight etc by now ...

Vortex - do you work at an image archive? You have some SERIOOOOUSLY good pics and manage to find them super quick!? I am in awe.
I love that poster, I wonder when we'll see something similar. I wouldn't be surprised if there will be limits on the amount of rice that can be bought in one transaction here, in the near future - possibly even by the end of the year. I've actually stopped stock piling it, as I feel bad for helping to push the price up still further out of the reach of those who are going to starve in south Asia. Is anyone else modifying their preps?

Now RC, I'm told that most of us on here are a bit slow and perhaps it's true, but I'm not sure I catch your drift!RenewableCandy wrote:"Ten to the minus three hunderd and twelve, and counting"
(Perhaps it's the red wine clouding my thoughts.... at least if your comment later appears to be obvious, then that is what I'll blame..... )
