Yeah, she wrote in CiF in the Guardian. It was more that Jaqui Smith said she couldn't see any reason why people would want to walk around places like Hackney that pissed people off. It was a real two-fingers job at people who live in the inner city. There has been so much of this kind of mis-representation/mis-information in the climate change debate, I guess peak oil won't escape. At least someone cares enough to try putting the story down...But what I can observe is that Staniford presents us with a false dichotomy ? the choice between going forward or ?reversing? to 19th century style farming. But there is no inherent reason why the readoptation of an older practice constitutes a reversal on the scale Staniford argues for
