I would like to throw one thing into this regarding property and recession. yep it will fall. BUT being in construction as you know, and working with some QS lads and sorting out contracts with some big names, I know of a good few contractors that have 5 years + work. Dont sound that exciting does it - untill you realise that its 5yrs work that clients have 'already' paid for in full in advance!

I am the ultimate recession predictor been on and on and on about it. but I think I could be slightly wrong. I think we will see a shift in skills but growth in others likewise a shift in poverty based on who loses work, and after that then we will hit recession. I think we will here the words recession on TV but I think all of next year will be fine and a very big earner for trades.
