But those 10 are making the lives of 190 of you a misery.
They do it because they assume that they can get away with it.
Aye. I don't entirely disagree with you, but it's extremely hard to be the one who sticks their neck out.
I did yell at some stupid teenage boys who were letting off fireworks in the street where my 8 year old and I were walking. I threatened to hit them in their f*cking faces with my f*cking walking stick if they did it again. They didn't.[/quote]

Yeah, that is really key isn't it? Understaning helps communication, which helps community, which helps us all. If you can't voice your fears (or your hopes!) here then where can you voice them?
Absolutely. And maybe the forum needs a shaking up every so often. I wouldn't like it to get all cliquey like, erm, the psy trance scene for example.

Quite! Am glad to see both of these replies, or I might have got quite aggressive again

Are you starting?!!?
OK OK . . . I didn't mean it!!
Ha, now you've read about me waving my stick at YOUTHS you're running scared!
Hey Anwen, why do you stay in flats in London? Are you in that trap (as I once was) of not being able to raise deposits or cash to tide you over between benefit claims if you were to move or is it more complex than that? I expect the benefit system has moved on a bit (i.e. got worse) since I relied on it.
Jim
For every complex problem, there is a simple answer, and it's wrong.
"Heaven and earth are ruthless, and treat the myriad creatures as straw dogs" (Lao Tzu V.i).

Well, it's a combination of job and family being mainly in London, really. I work part time at a job I really like, which is virtually unheard of and my boyfriend and my mum plus DD's school are all here as well.
Otherwise I would be merrily joining the scheme where you can swap a council home in London for one up North because everyone's after moving to London...
