I'm 37 so right in the largest polled group. No big deal though, my age group is also the biggest on a bike forum I used to frequent, all it means to me is people my age spend too much time on the internetz.

Fair point, but then look at the extremely low turnout for the "under 20s" in this poll. Is this because they're not spending too much of their time on the internet? No, they're online all day but they just visit the er, ahem, wrong websites . Or is it because they're too young to be concerned about the future (yet)?

Peak Oil isn't sexy enough yet to attract them. I mean graphs of oil production and projected economic decline zzzzzzzzzzzzzz....
Nah, mebbe they're just too shy to vote on an age related poll, scared somebody will say, "you don't even know you're born, when I were a lad..."

Another possibility of course is that they are totally clued up about PO and so don't need to come here.

I sometimes go on a dance music forum, and most of the active members are aged 19-26ish, and a large proportion of them are familiar with the concept of PO. Whether or not they have really twigged what the consequences might mean for them is another matter.
