One in six UK adults doubt human link to climate change - report:

One in six adults in the UK does not believe that climate change is mainly caused by human activities, according to a report released on Wednesday. That's despite scientists and policymakers around the world almost unanimously believing this to be the case. King's College London conducted the study as part of a project looking at public trust in expertise. It was based on a survey of 12,000 adults across six European countries. Professor Bobby Duffy, director of the Policy Institute at King's, called the finding "a real concern as it may affect support for action."

It takes all sorts as they say!

16% is a very small and probably dying proportion of the population. What I would be worried about would be if a significant number of children held the same view.

I agree, it does seem to be largely older people who doubt that global warming is a man made problem.

My late Father was a typical example of that generation, believing that it was "all an excuse to increase prices" And that global warming IF TRUE was a good thing as he liked sunbathing.
