The police made a spectacular drugs seizure, 3 grams of pot ! and uprooted a cannabis plant.

The industrial tumble dryer has suffered again from the exploding of a feather duvet placed therein. Apart from that, appliances and equipment have done well.

I recently visited, and confirm that the operation is doing well.

The odd failure of domestic appliances etc is to be expected, and despite heavy use equipment has survived well.
The launderette type tumble dryer has suffered several times from the bursting of feather duvets and pillows placed therein, but that is life.

The recent high winds brought down a large tree in the garden, fortunately without any serious damage.

There is now provision for fast charging up to 3 EVs at the same time, or indeed for use of anything else needing a 32 amp supply.

A new batch of students have moved in, as would be expected at this time of year.
A major factor in attracting students has been the availability of fast EV charging, a facility almost unknown in most student housing.
A total of 6 fast charging spaces are available, of which 4 are in regular use.
6 is the sensible limit on the present supply.

The solid fuel central heating boiler has worked well, mainly fueled with wood but can burn smokeless coal if required.

Quick update.

During lockdown, many rooms were let to a large family*, AFAIK this complied with the rules as they were the only tenants.
Other rooms now let for holidays.
Students expected to return in the Autumn.

Another cat died, but at an impressive age and having lived a good life. Another cat adopted by a former tenant. Two new cats obtained from a rescue charity.

Some furniture has been replaced. Industrial washing machines and tumble dryer still OK after the odd repair.
Wind turbine killed by a goose, OK after fitting new blades.

* A member of this forum, who wanted a legal break during lockdown. I confirm that this is NOT my business that that I gained no advantage from the letting.
