This 20 minute video of a Canadian academic, Dr William E Rees, Professor Emeritus at the University of British Columbia and former director of the School of Community and Regional Planning at UBC, questioning the thinking behind current economics and its addiction to growth is very listenable and essential for us in developing a way forward. He is another person who understands the ludicrousness of exponential growth in a finite environment.

Just watched that Ken, very good.

For the first tine since 1992, thanks to lockdown/pandemic, 2021 is looking like we will be self sufficient in veg/fruit production again.

It is quite sobering to realise that the future is going to be a lot more tumultuous than the past.
