“Every attempt to interfere with the proper outcome of the election was defeated,”

Another successful example of mass-manipulation? A conspiracy?

Remember when members slagged biff on being in biff-world. Not I, incidentally.

What planet was Biff on? Ah, it was woke-world, and he's now no longer alone!
All that piece says, Snail, is that a free and fair election was held and that the result was protected. Trump and his supporters were the ones who tried to steal the election by limiting the number of voters and their chances to vote; Trump and his supporters were the ones who tried to close down the US Postal Service to stop people voting at a time of world pandemic; Trump and his supporters were the ones who removed post boxes; and Trump and his supporters were the ones who put out false post boxes to catch postal votes and destroy them.

Trump is the one who is conducting a mass manipulation campaign by telling lies about the so called "stolen election". He has been to court 50 odd times and his case has been thrown out in all but one case. Why? Because his lawyers have not provided any evidence of the "steal" in court because they know that telling lies in court will get them jailed and disbarred from practising law as well. They and he can, unfortunately, tell as many lies outside court as they wish without any legal comeback. There may be financial comeback, however, as the companies which they told lies about are now taking them to court for telling those lies.

That is what “Every attempt to interfere with the proper outcome of the election was defeated,” means.

The reason that Biff left, I suppose, was because he didn't want to recognise or admit the dichotomy in his position in supporting mass immigration while wanting to reduce the carbon footprint of the country. It was easier to leave than answer the questions asked. And it was your co-conspiracy theorist, LJ, who was one of the leaders in the arguments against him.

If you want to believe in daft conspiracy theories that is up to you, Snail, but don't complain if you are laughed at and your theories debunked. It is the fate of any one daft enough to believe obvious conspiracy theories.

Powerful interest groups, much money, changing laws, creating internet memes etc... All for the purpose of electing one individual. Or, if you must, for the good health of democracy (rolling eyes)

Sigh.

I'm not sure what conspiracy theories I'm supposed to be believing in.

I think trump was one of the better presidents: no war, challenging China, highlighting others hypocrisy, economy etc.. At the very least he was a mirror reflecting back.
I think groups, people, interests have/are using covid-19 for their own ends. Consequently, the threat of covid has been exaggerated Imo.
And that Covid-19 lock down is the wrong tactic anyway.
I think people don't realize how easy it is to be manipulated. Or they think they're immune. I think people now need to be on their guard about this.
I think the bad guys often masquerade as the good guys.
I think pc-ness has the potential to be even more troublesome in the future.

I dont really post much or get involved in conversations. I wouldn't say I'm anyone's 'co-conspirator' and I'm not complaining about being laughed at. Some comments have gotten under my skin. Sometimes I feel compelled to post something if I've been thinking about it. Sometimes I post something a little silly.

All that you have said there, Snail, I could have said from my side of the argument. From my point of view Trump was/is as manipulative as Hitler or Mussolini and about as honest. I disliked him from when he was trying to bully his neighbours out of their homes to extend his Scottish golf course across their homes and protected sand dunes. That bullying set the tone of any relationship that I had with him for ever more.

You don't have a "relationship" with Trump any more than you have a "relationship" with Biden and it is that kind of infantile level of political reasoning in a large portion of the population that is the reason the world is f***ed and will remain so.

What Trump did when he bullied his neighbours around his golf course in Scotland decided how I relate to him, what he says and what he does so I do have a relationship with him just as I do with you, LJ. And how I relate to you is becoming much as I relate to Trump as you become more and more angry. The anger that you express and the willingness to take on board ludicrous conspiracy theories and "that kind of infantile level of political reasoning in a large portion of the population" is "the reason the world is f***ed and will remain so" until people stop believing all the rubbish that is posted on social media.

Trump acquitted 57 to 43. Another 10 Republican votes would have convicted him of sedition. In this case the jury were both victims and collaborators in the crime, and the courtroom was the crime scene. Some of the jury actively negotiated with the defence lawyers.

The latest conspiracy theory to sweep the US, that the government conspired to cover the state of Texas in snow!!

The country, or at least part of it, has gone mad.

Yet another attempt to prove the election was stolen is rejected in the largely Trump appointed Supreme Court.

There is a fairly widely believed conspiracy theory that "they" are undertaking a man made global dimming programe to reduce sunlight by means of fake or man made clouds. It is not clear what "they" expect to gain thereby.
Allied to global stilling, an even more mysterious plot to reduce average wind speeds, for what purpose is not clear.

And of course the old plot to tilt the axis of rotation of the earth, everyone knows someone who has observed sunlight through a long existing window, through which sunlight has never previously passed. I recomend that such people visit Stonehenge, where at the winter solstice the sun rises in the same place that it has done for thousands of years.

So covering Texas in snow should be easy.

That would be the fossil fuel companies to increase their profits from electricity generation instead of wind turbines. Or maybe the nuclear power companies?

"Global stilling" is a new one for me. I had not heard of that one.

I did read that if there were enough wind turbines built they would actually slow the wind down - it can never be stopped due to the Betz efficiency - that quite bad things would happen such as drastic weather changes and transfer of global heat etc. But that would be thousands on times the number of turbines currently used.

Or perhaps all the PV modules are using up the sunlight, and the wind turbines have used up the wind.

How many turbines would we need to replace all the trees we already felled ?

Insane theories aside, that's a well put-together website. He has made a video too, quite professional, although the comments leave something to be desired:
