I don't think that Trump sent in the National Guard. According to the NY Times the Mayor of DC requested assistance from the military and they scrambled the NG as they don't want the military seen confronting election protesters.

It has been pretty obvious for weeks now that Trump supporters were going to be violent if the spoilt brat didn't get his way so I just wonder why there wasn't a stronger security presence "parked around the corner" ready for immediate action. Perhaps Trump stopped that happening or maybe the people in charge didn't want to offend "Mr President".

A false flag would also explain why it was so ridiculously easy for them to overcome police and break into the capital building during a Joint Session of Congress with Electoral College votes being certified, at a time when the capital building is presumably at a very high state of alert.

I am quite sure these were genuine Trump supporters. However, I can imagine the FBI or whichever organisation is responsible for security must have known that such an attempt would be made, and deliberately limited guards on the ground so that entry could be forced with minimal effort.
