Absolutely.Mark wrote:That there are 3 dead and others injured is terrible.ReserveGrowthRulz wrote:Unfortunate that none of the nearby sheeple were carrying narwhal tusks and fire extinguishers.
Narwhal tusks in emergency stands on every corner? Small fire extinguishers to carry in purses or backpacks? Training for all citizens in their use and handling?

He will be tried, found guilty, and sent to prison for a very long time...boisdevie wrote:I'm sure that candles and another rousing chorus of 'dont look back in anger' will make homicidal Muslims think twice.
I hope he'll also be deported when his release date finally comes.
Seems that he suffered from mental health (cannabis smoking) issues...
This also seems to be a common thread in theses cases...
& your solution ?
* edit to change repatriated to deported (what I meant to say)

If by "brought to it's knees" is "took over multiple foreign countries while knocking off untold thousands of wrong doers and putting down against their will the people who attacked us", then sure.careful_eugene wrote:In the US, 19 men armed with little knives brought your country to it's knees. If you actually read what I said, my hope is that he is deported at the end of his sentence.ReserveGrowthRulz wrote:And those who died, their families can happily move forward knowing that when he/she is released (like the last terrorist in London that required the narwhal tusk and fire extinguisher put down after killing a few) they are free to do it all over again?Mark wrote:He will be tried, found guilty, and sent to prison for a very long time...boisdevie wrote:I'm sure that candles and another rousing chorus of 'dont look back in anger' will make homicidal Muslims think twice.
If all it takes is weed to excuse murdering folks, my entire state would be dead at this point, each dope smoker offing others until there is no one left.Mark wrote: Seems that he suffered from mental health (cannabis smoking) issues...

My solution is that once this has been deemed okay by all the other citizens, that you government can relax, secure in their knowledge that they've got nothing to worry about. Because never in the history of sheep have they done anything other than what they are told to do. Boris will sleep well for the rest of his term.
I understand that others might want a harsher sentence for this crime - if it was my family, I might be one of them.
As for the cannabis, I didn't say that this was the only reason. There are obviously other reasons that we're all aware of. It just seems to be a contributory factor, that's all.

The actual figures aren't already terrible enough.....?ReserveGrowthRulz wrote:And how many incidents that never occurred, because of citizens taking responsibility for not just their safety, but that of their fellow citizens?Catweazle wrote:The fact that the murder of three people makes headline news is proof that our system works.
In the USA, in 2019, there were 417 incidents where 4 or more people were shot, excluding the shooter.
But you rejoice because they're not even more murderous ??

So much winning! You must be bigly proud.ReserveGrowthRulz wrote:If by "brought to it's knees" is "took over multiple foreign countries while knocking off untold thousands of wrong doers and putting down against their will the people who attacked us", then sure. We did something that no one else in the world was capable of to get the bastards responsible. And then some.careful_eugene wrote:In the US, 19 men armed with little knives brought your country to it's knees. Just saying.ReserveGrowthRulz wrote:

We also learned, IN REAL TIME that day, that run of the mill non-sheeple citizens, don't sit around waiting for it to happen to you. Only in America could that have happened so quickly, as this event in the UK just demonstrated.

The other reasons have been discussed many times, in many places, including here....ReserveGrowthRulz wrote:But it was the only one apparently important enough to be mentioned.Mark wrote: As for the cannabis, I didn't say that this was the only reason.
I wasn't saying that it was the ONLY factor, or the MAIN factor, just A FACTOR that seemed to be common among the perpetrators and maybe worth a mention...

What happened in Reading was terrible, but this puts it in some context...
I am really pleased to live in a country where I can walk around without the need to carry a gun to protect myself. And that is after the Reading incident which happened in the next town to us on the way into London, a place where we often go to the theatre or a concert. It certainly won't bother me to go there as soon as the theatres open as the killings there were such an unlikely thing to happen.
