Hey, Catweazle,

Where do I get these vaunted Social Credits, what with my being an ever so 'umble mere Pleblic Sector Retired Swivel Servant?

And what's more, being as, what, with it being warm and all, and having shared my advance planning right here, Mrs Mustard has now Summer Cut my hair with the cordless shears (Made In China), and I'm clean out of forelock to tug...

Blinking Flip. Hadn't thought of that...

He didn't do a restaurant and outside market tour to get there!
You don't know where he went.

Guidance is not law. It's guidance.

If he has broken the criminal law, he will be prosecuted. But evidence of a crime will need to be evinced.

This is a classic witch hunt. He has made enemies and they are coming to get him.

Dear Doc Campbell said way way back - avoid public loos. Excellent advice, and, us both being Clinically Vulnerable, duly noted. Right here on the A1(M) going Up North.

I'm not sure the Wu could survive on a petrol / diesel pump, but a Landrover Disco tank won't get to Durham and back without using one.

What!!!

That is not how stock markets work.

We (well some of us) knew that capitalism failed in 2008 when the state bailed out the fraudulent banking system with tax payers cash, effectively handing the bill to the poor, homeless, sick, and uneducated.

But it seems you have accepted that the great barometer of the US financial system, the stock market, is on life support ........forever.

If stock prices are artificially engineered upwards, constantly, then, the pensions that rely on those fictitious valuations are worthless.

The Roman empire came to an end, inter alia, when they started adding lead to their gold coins.

The US,UK,EURO area are now adding lead to the non discoverable values of listed companies.

I believe this ends badly.
For some reason I could not access Powerswitch anytime yesterday so this response is a bit stale. :?
It is not how stock markets are set up to work but is how they are manipulating it now. And no I don't think they will or even could prop it up forever and this is just a temporary action which is as much about avoiding public panic as it is about keeping corporations solvent.
And yes we plebes will get the bill for this bale out also.
The Romans had a lot of problems. Corruption at the top, wine stored in lead jars,A shortage of firewood to heat the baths, a shortage of grain to provide bread to the mob and a plague or two.
If you added much copper to a gold coin it would harden it so the madam when she checked it with her teeth would know it was fake and she would send you to the rotten thighed whore.

I got fed up watching the Dominic Cummings witch hunt on BBC just now so here I am again. He drove to his family farm with his 4 year old son. He stopped on the way at the road side because his son needed the loo. He didn't interact with anyone on the way and went for a walk on private land as I do most days. Where did he endanger anyone else?

Maybe he stretched the "guidance" a bit but that is only a sacking offence if you "hate the bastard" like most slightly left of centre, and maybe a few just right of centre, people do.

This is an unseemly witch hunt, full stop.

Yeah, right. Let's hope he considered everyone else. Maybe he even had a face mask too. But... this appears to be the Herd Immunity advocate.

Last year, I had a cataract op (followed by a crap specs prescription) and STAYED OFF THE ROAD for months until professionally clinically checked and resolved.

This guy is definitely an entitlled asshole.

Meanwhile the other side of the coin goes completely unreported by the press except for the Guardian complaining about Stephen Kinnock being harassed by the police for visiting his Dad.

A public servant, currently under investigation by the Police for a criminal offence, was just allowed to give a press conference to explain his actions and potentially prejudice a prosecution. Truth Twisting indeed. No civil servant would be permitted to do that.

A vision check, as mandated by the DVLA, for starters.

And, being Clinically Vulnerable, I'll keep to myself, and away from everyone else, rather than blindly trust and compromise my phone to some bunch of Vote Leave Scumbag Cyber Crims on a lucrative uncontested Cabinet Office contract.
