Restaurants.
The type of food and quantity/waste is different from households.
Also, takeaways use the sh1tiest ingredients possible (usually imported) and we are not buying takeaways as much either.

She of course is devastated.
I hope your daughter is OK. Teachers have a a thankless job nowadays.
I hope the child's family can get help. Not easy if we are all locked up.

That puts the disease into sharp relief. People are starting to realise the blessing of living in big happy families.
Tell your daughter well done for carrying on with the vital work she is doing. Those online lessons will be bringing structure to her pupils and their lives.

If, following relaxation of the lockdown cases and hospital admissions start to rise rapidly, informing us of elevated R and a return to exponential grown - tight restrictions will be reimposed.
The idea that we would fail to contain (keep cases below acceptable level) a 2nd wave seems unlikely.

Funny you should mention that. Stress is a lot to do with the likes of heart attacks, and of late I have noticed something really quite strange. Whilst out and about on my pushbike there are others doing the same - walking, cycling. This is during the week when normally people would be at work but of course they aren't now, and the 'aura' of them being relaxed and chilled out is quite palpable. This is what people are like when they aren't having their noses rubbed firmly against a grindstone, when pressure is removed. Everyone smiles, no furrowed brows. This is what we could be like, but it won't last, then all the stress related shit will be back.

You clearly don't live in the world the majority do. The one where 80% of the shit wages they were already on will not pay the bills. The one where they live in shoe boxes in dense urban environments. The one where the shitty job on shitty money they were on before this lockdown will not even be there when it lifts.
Oh, and by the way, strokes and heart attacks overwhelmingly occur in the elderly and comorbid. Can you work out where they have gone yet?.....

Well I see the same as EYV, but we all know that weird things are happening. I have just sent a shielding letter to my employer as they are due to reopen. Interesting times!

What can I say, you are in your bubble, I'm in mine. My physical location and my head location are the results of decisions I have made through my life. This is what I aimed for, it's what I got.

Bollocks
I am simply stating facts for the majority of the population. I also know and understand what the facts are for a minority of the population.
No surprises there, other than here in the UK the current government, for whatever reason, don't appear to have given much protection to their voter base. I know UK figures aren't in there but I can't see them differing much.
It just looks so much like a eugenicists wet dream, bye bye old and anyone not in good nick - we'll sort the young ones out later, watch out weaklings.
