People may go out and about but just about everything still remains shut - schools, pubs, sports centres, etc. How many organisations and companies will open up and take the chance of being arrested?

Some of them will never open back up. Just come into work this morning (50 unit managed workspace building) to see that one of the ground floor tenants (beauty type offering) is moving out. Van and car being filled up with fixtures and fittings. A small office tenant moved out last week and we are aware of two others who have handed in their notice.

The building is very popular and runs at near 100% occupancy with waiting lists. It's a one month notice place with relatively low rentals. It will be very interesting to see the occupancy level in 3 and 6 months time.

Have a read through the linked article, the guy is saying it's quite possible there will be no vaccine. If that's the case then 'suck it up' = to accept an unpleasant fact or situation.
So then we have the LJ scenario playing out.

Perhaps more people are going to work. The most recent statement by HMG would seem to be encouraging a return to work by those who can not work from home.

But yes the lockdown is starting to fall apart, I have heard that increasing numbers of pubs are open via the back door for regulars.

Even with a good vaccine the logistics of getting the majority vaccinated will make much of the LJ scenario play out. Best to get mentally prepared for it.

I've read it twice. It says the NHS defined, shielded 2 million should 'stay at home, at all times, until June review'. It doesn't actually say what they live on, or how their council tax is paid? The gov really doesn't understand life does it?

Long term the virus will become one of those diseases like chickenpox that you catch as a child to avoid catching it at an adult, when it could do you a lot more damage
