It looks as the recent election has ended with a traditional riot.
I suspect that the election count IS being rigged to keep the ruling party in power.
That is however a "gut feeling" and not based on any hard evidence.

Good. I am not religious at all but at time like this I really wish there were a hell where that amoral tyrant would end up.

As I and many others said about Mugabe "the best thing that can be said about Mugabe, is that eventually he will die"

Interestingly. in the company I work for we have two Zimbabweans, one white and one black. The white one, who is probably the worst individual I have ever worked with - a complete psychopath - just wanted him dead. The black one, a far more rounded person, still referred to him as a liberator even though he left the country because it was disintegrating.

In short Mugabe should have left power in 1990 after a fairly successful decade in power. There seems to be something wrong with human nature particularly with political leaders that prevents that happening.

The personal qualities necessary to propel someone to a position of power are precisely the qualities that make them unsuitable for a position of power in the longer run.

Nice. Gonna plagiarise that.
