Oh please. You folks are just jealous because we threw off the Royal yoke centuries ago, and you are still laboring under the weight of it.Catweazle wrote:ReserveGrowthRulz wrote: Us Americans are willing to give up some minor niceties in order to rule the world.

I’m not convinced you did throw off the Royal yoke. Who’s pulling the strings?ReserveGrowthRulz wrote:Oh please. Also you now have the “truth about vaccines which is “they are safe and effective, and you are going to get them regardless. Rgardless of any facts, because they will be deleted, and you don’t get the choice. 5g is going the same was, as did GMOs.

Given a choice between your President and our Royal Family I think I know which most Brits would take and it isn't your dotty, darling Donald.ReserveGrowthRulz wrote:......

The answer to that question depends on what level of conspiracy nutter someone is. A full nutter would probably claim it was the Illuminati, perhaps our alien overlords (popular during peak oil days).woodburner wrote:I’m not convinced you did throw off the Royal yoke. A non-nutter would say "my wife".
Nothing wrong with vaccines. Again, that is a non-nutter perspective.Woodburner wrote: Also you now have the “truth about vaccines which is “they are safe and effective, and you are going to get them regardless. I'll take basic American business ignorance over impotent most any day of the week. Most powerful position in the world for a reason, and he hasn't even been able to stop the lawsuits from stopping him at nearly every turn. He is proving a concept I've wondered about for a long time, and that is how much a President can really affect much of anything, short term.kenneal - lagger wrote:Given a choice between your President and our Royal Family I think I know which most Brits would take and it isn't your dotty, darling Donald.ReserveGrowthRulz wrote:......

As a country, we seem to be doing fine for all his unique cry-babyness and whining.
Hardly. You might have missed how we elevate black folks to President, I'm sure the Royal's by now have shown their interracial tolerance by installing a black prime minister? Indian perhaps? And there must be plenty of poor Royals around to show the good people of the islands what royal blood and bootstraps are worth?kenneal-lagger wrote:As long as you're not black or poor? Our truth, equality and justice works most of the time just fine.
I'll take the land of the free and home of the brave, backed up by a citizens right to object far more strenuously than the famed British Kitchen Knife Brigades who haven't even managed to get a black person installed in Royalty yet. Not quite fair perhaps, Brits being less tolerant of minorities than us Yanks, but given another couple centuries maybe you'll get around to being a more enlightened society?

You've had one black President and we've had two women Prime Ministers. We have ethnic black and Asian members of the cabinet and one Asian stood for leader of the Conservatives so we are close on that score. We even have two mixed race members of the royal family.
We are each getting there in our own good time.

One of a series I suggest you look at the others as well.
Of particular interest is the Edmonson (possible spelling error) strain of measles vaccine, which was discontinued in use in the US because it was dangerous. So the Americans, those nice magnamous US people, took this vaccine, which according to you has nothing wrong with it, to “help the Yanomami in South America, where hundreds of thousands were killed by it. Good job there was nothing wrong with it. Just as the MMR vaccine, Trivirax, which was banned in Canada in 1988, was renamed Pluserix, and introduced into the UK in July of that year. The problem was that it caused anaphalaxys. Still, nothing wrong with that, eh?
You need to do some research I suggest.

Yup. And how integrated is the Royal family? The bastion of British history and benign guidance down through the centuries?kenneal - lagger wrote:You've had one black President and we've had two women Prime Ministers.
Sure we are. Now...how well have the Royals integrated your ruling family?kenneal-lagger wrote: We have ethnic black and Asian members of the cabinet and one Asian stood for leader of the Conservatives so we are close on that score. We even have two mixed race members of the royal family.
