Use of the search engine

Post by kenneal - lagger »

Anybody got any suggestions on how to find J2M's quotes from the Koran which show approval for the killing of apostates and non believers?

This site gives a good summary

https://www.thereligionofpeace.com/page ... lence.aspx

Though, I should note, when I tried to go to the site form a google link, it just hung, as if the site was down. but, when I started up my VPN, which encrypts all traffic, suddenly, the site loaded instantly.

Now.... if I was being cynical/paranoid...

anyway, let me know if you have any difficulty loading the site..

J2M often used the spelling 'Quran', if that's any help..?

I've just done a quick search, but there's a lot to get through...

The search function in this version of the site software is truly diabolical but hey, you can use it for free.

I suggest you 'find' all J2M's posts, go to the last one and then work backwards. He hasn't been active recently and that post would have been in his last hundred or so.

I can confirm that this site is indeed hanging when ever I try to load it as normal. But, when using a VPN, it loads instantly.

Which can only mean my ISP is throttling the connection if the site is identifiable

I use SKY, for the record.

I do not know, normally any member can edit their own posts, what happened when you tried ?

BTW, I can and have edited the post, I have not made any significant alteration, simply added a pair of full stops after the very last word, simply to test the facility.

I got two threads to search through - all fifty something pages of them!! Thanks, LJ, I'll have a look on that site.

Can you edit any of your posts or just that particular one?

Aha! I just saw I can't edit posts. And nothing has changed on my computer.
